Doug Andrews has been manufacturing custom jewellery since 1988. As of September 2022 retirement into private practice was a obvious transition. Custom design and manufacturing still holds as a desire of mine with many Ideas left for unique creations.
Our History
Karateristics was founded in 1995 by the sole owner Douglas Andrews. Doug started his career with a Fine Arts Education background before attending a Goldsmith school in Vernon, B.C. After completing his degree in 1988, he moved to Kamloops where he completed his three year apprentice with Designs In Gold. He stayed on for eight years with them before its closing in 1994.
Doug then decided to open Karateristics a year later, and is now a family run business.
